Tunnel of Almohades

The project consists of the construction of a road tunnel lowering every crossroads along the boulevards of the Almohades, Sidi Med Ben Abdellah et Zaid ou Hmed and leading to the FAR Avenue after The Zelaqa crossroad. The development concerns 2270 meter linear of which 1817m underground.

On the surface, the project consists of:

Developing all the crossroads on the surface ;
Developing the surface roads as 2x2 roads ;
The redevelopment of the Zelaqa place to allow the crossing of the line 3 of the Tramway and decongest circulation
Developing public parking areas.

Underground, the project consists of:

The development of an underground work as 2x2 roads for the transit traffic;
Equip the tunnel with fire detection, ventilation, LED lighting, radio & telephone communication and traffic management system;
Construction and equipment of a centralized technical management center (TMC), for the functioning management of the work, in particular, lighting, signage, and electric plug.
